Who can submit

A review link is generated only after a job recorded through JMac Roofing Leads is marked complete. The private signed link can be used once, and each recorded job can have only one review.

What reviews should cover

Reviews should be first-hand, relevant and honest. Useful topics include communication, punctuality, whether the agreed scope was delivered, care of the property and how issues were handled. Reviews must not include addresses, telephone numbers, payment details or unnecessary personal information.

Fake and incentivised reviews

Fake reviews, review trading, purchased reviews, impersonation and attempts to suppress honest feedback are prohibited. A review written in exchange for money, a discount, free work or another benefit must be disclosed; concealed incentives are not permitted. The platform does not offer rewards for positive ratings.

Moderation

Reviews begin as pending. They may be checked against the recorded job, duplication, suspicious patterns, irrelevant content, personal information, threats, discrimination, illegality and conflicts of interest. Moderation does not rewrite a customer’s opinion or remove criticism merely because a company disagrees.

Company responses

A roofing company may provide a factual, professional response. Responses must not reveal customer information, pressure the reviewer, offer an undisclosed reward, or threaten action intended to silence an honest account.

Removal, reporting and records

Content may be rejected, labelled or removed where evidence indicates it is fake, misleading, incentivised without disclosure, abusive, unlawful or unrelated to the job. Moderation history and the link to the underlying platform job are retained according to the approved retention policy. Users and companies will have a route to report a review and provide supporting evidence before launch.
